There is a lot kind of service for FOREX TRADING scatter everywhere in the internet, start from
BROKERAGE FIRMS, TRADING SYSTEM, FOREX BOOK, FOREX ANALYSIS, FOREX COURSE, SIGNAL SERVICE, etc.
When we start doing forex trading, often we got confuse to pick the best one for us.
I'm not trying to point us to a certain service, but rather like to give us a clear perspective on
this too many service provided, so at the end we can decide what is the best for us our self.
I divide the review base on the previous area, and I will add as many as information I could found
regarding any forex trading service. This job can't do it by myself alone, I need a lot of help from
former user, current user, and other fellow traders, to give the review rich of information.

THIRD PARTY VERIFICATION SERVICE AND AUTO TRADE

On 2004 when I started this site, everyone need to subscribe to a signal provider service
just to feel and to know how they perform in real time. This will surely time consuming,
nevertheless need quite amount of money to pay the subscription fee which is not cheap.

Now 2007, three years later, we won't need to do the old way anymore. Now available

Although still doing a test for several forex signal provider, I like to make a report summary
so fellow traders dont have to search everywhere for the information.
I will try to keep monitor the service that already been review so the information always update.

The test itself is doing by independent trader and this site is not support by any signal provider,
so I hope the review did not bias.

READ THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO USE ANY SIGNAL SERVICE !

As a newbie in forex trading, we are tend to look short way
to make money using this signal provider, although it's not wrong and
there is a lot of service like this in the internet. I just hope we also
have good knowledge about this forex thing, a technical and fundamental
analysis maybe, charting and its indicator maybe, or even better a trading
system of your own. So if we are going to "the battle" we have
"good arsenal" with us.

My experience with signal service
provider is not satisfy enough, so I won't recommend you to any service.
But I can give you a guideline to find a service that suit with your
trading style and capital.

The most important thing when using any signal service on live account is

DO NOT use HIGH LEVERAGE trade,

because there is no such thing called get-quick-rich-scheme on forex trading.

Use ONLY LOW LEVERAGE (1:1 or 2:1) so the account could survive from the worst drawdown.

- Look for the service with YES on EASY TO
FOLLOW and HONEST RESULT.

- Check their trading time, is it match with
yours or not.

- Go to their website and look at performance section.

Pick service with the LOWEST DRAWDOWN or any service that suit your
capital.

- Try them on demo first before you use any service on your live account

- If you already get comfort with them go live with VERY LOW LEVERAGE to reduce any worst drawdown.

- Start your subscription at the beginning of the
month, so you can compare the result with them.

And AVOID any service on the next list, because we don't like any dishonest service.

CRITERIA FOR SIGNAL SERVICE REVIEW

First thing first, the service should be profitable.
But not just profitable, the second criteria is easy to follow.
Easy to follow mean there is should be enough time to enter or
adjust any order after we receive the signal.
In other word, better to use entry order rather than market price to avoid miss the signal.
The third one is the provider should be honest with their result reported in their site.
About the fee, I think if the result is profitable enough than the fee is not a problem anymore.

for EUR, GBP, CHF and JPY, which are delivered by email. The models are
mutually exclusive so signals can conflict (e.g., trading model 1 might

Forex Trade Oracle have a decent track record calling the expected trend for the
day. However, because they employ no stops (time-based close) their
service should only be used as a guide, especially for smaller accounts.
There is an old trading maxim that says "in order to make money, you
have to avoid losing money". You can't avoid losing money if you
don't use stops. Recently they introduced a new strategy that already used
Stop Loss and Target Profit, and aiming for 120 pips per week. ( as reported by fundmgr )

NFG Consulting is
a long term trading service. The longest open trade is almost 10 months to date
(open at July 4 2004). It uses an artificial
intelligence model with no manual input based on a myriad of technical and
other non-fundamental factors. The system tries to maintain a low
volatility portfolio by taking balanced positions during ranging markets
and more skewed positions when they trend. The result, in theory, is that
the portfolio will thrive when markets trend and at least break even when
they range. During my trial the closed trades have not been profitable,
but I find the portfolio approach to currency trading intriguing enough
that I will continue to monitor the service. Too little information

They using the same style, mostly don't use stops and just hold 1 day at a
time. The results are pretty accurate. 10,000 pips over 1 year seems very
good. I have only been with them shortly though. The drawdowns can be
large and fast. A 1000-1500 pip drawdowns over the course of the year seem
frequent, but they are made up quickly. Another low leverage type
provider. You can feel safe though that they report honestly, which is

Prosignal
is signal service using their own automatic system that's based on 15 min
charts for EUR/USD, GBP/USD and EUR/JPY, and they can come at any time of
the day. Anyway, it's possible to setup the software they provide to send
signal alerts to an email address. Although the signals are generated from
a mechanical system, they claim that better results can be obtained by
combining their signals with technical analysis; but since they don't
provide evidence (ie, past performance figures) to support this claim,
I'll keep following the signals blindly (for test purposes, of course).
The software they provide can backtest the signals, the results it shows
don't seem to be "cooked", although they don't take in account
spread. You can see their historical performance up to June in their site.
The July performance looks to be quite below average. At the end, the
in-consistency of the official result and the one made by the traders
should be take into consideration before subscribe to this service. ( as

If you like to know their real performance just look at the second report,

the long run it will still produce profit as my last try with them. About
the fee, a bit expensive for a mini-account holder, but maybe it is
not a problem for full-account holder, since they can breakeven at 30 pips
profit.

time or stop and reverse. System is pretty profitable if you have the
capital to sustain losses. While one side of the currency is making you
money the other side of the currency can be deeply in the neg. You take

can take a couple of months. This service should only be for those that
are willing wait to see big profit. Signals can be very confusing when

Winning
Forex signal is basically a
breakout type system based on some sort of mathematical formula, there are
times when there can be quite a large drawdown. This can be a little
daunting at times, but you just have to realize that once a trend has been
caught, it doesn't take much to recover those losses very quickly. Their
main target is to book 200 pips profit per week and
once this is achieved, that's it for the week - no more signals offered.
The week may end on Tuesday or it may end on Friday at 5pm, and may even
possibly carry over to the following week. One small problem is that
because different people use different platforms, you may be wise to set
your entry points 2-3pts on the other side of the suggested entry point.
You may sacrifice a couple of points each trade but this will make sure
that you remain in sync with their calls. If there are quite a few
losses on a long week, these 2-3 pips every trade soon add up, and instead
of making 200 pips for the week, you may only make 150 pips. You may
be able to make this up at times when targets are set and you choose to
remain in a trade. But the way I look at it, 150 pips for the week

Forex Trade Oracle have a decent track record calling the expected trend for the day. However, because they employ no stops (time-based close) their service should only be used as a guide, especially for smaller accounts. The results are pretty accurate. 10,000 pips over 1 year seems very good. I have only been with them shortly though. The drawdowns can be large and fast. A 1000-1500 pip drawdowns over the course of the year seem frequent, but they are made up quickly. Another low leverage type provider. Prosignal is signal service using their own automatic system that's based on 15 min charts for EUR/USD, GBP/USD and EUR/JPY, and they can come at any time of the day. Anyway, it's possible to setup the software they provide to send signal alerts to an email address. Although the signals are generated from a mechanical system, they claim that better results can be obtained by combining their signals with technical analysis; but since they don't provide evidence (ie, past performance figures) to support this claim, I'll keep following the signals blindly (for test purposes, of course). The software they provide can backtest the signals, the results it shows don't seem to be "cooked", although they don't take in account spread. You can see their historical performance up to June in their site. The July performance looks to be quite below average. FX-Dealer signals are better then FX-Unigma and Forex-Strategy although have very strange way of reporting the profits. One cannot match the profit levels of signal providers. TAPS E.P. is another honest service on the net. They use own platform to give exact entry point, SL and TP. They also use small SL like 30 pips .They give 2 result reported. If you like to know their real performance just look at the second report, because the first one is base on best case scenario only. Even they got bad result on past few months, but I think in the long run it will still produce profit as my last try with them. About the fee, a bit expensive for a mini-account holder, but maybe it is not a problem for full-account holder, since they can breakeven at 30 pips profit.

Forex Strategy is having more bad comments than good ones because the user can't get the same result as publish in the performance section. Their response about this matter is user should take their online forex course first to produce same result with theirs. They have 2 types of service, Gold Service ( signal send twice a day ) and Platinum Service ( signal send during trading time ). I suggest to use Gold Service because it's easier to follow and I think it still can produce profit ( ? ), although they don't publish Gold Service result.

FBS Investments uses a system of hedging where you buy and sell a currency at the same time or stop and reverse. System is pretty profitable if you have the capital to sustain losses. While one side of the currency is making you money the other side of the currency can be deeply in the neg. You take profit when there is profit & wait for neg. to become positive this can take a couple of months. This service should only be for those that are willing wait to see big profit.
